“Respect – international comics” is a project in which artists from ten countries design booklets of 12-16 pages about respect as well as against xenophobia. The aim of the project is to speak to young people through the medium of comics in a language that they understand and which interest them.

The subjects touched on include respect for others, relating to people with different viewpoints and to other ethnic, religious and social groups.

„Respect – internationale Comics“ ist ein seit 2012 bestehendes Projekt, in der Comic-Künstler aus mehr als zehn Ländern 12-16seitige gezeichnete Booklets zum Thema Respect bzw. gegen Fremdenfeindlichkeit produzieren.

Ziel ist es, mithilfe von Comics eine Auseinandersetzung mit aktuellen sozialen Themen wie Toleranz und Respekt anzuregen.
